Blog Entry: The Capital of Wales, is a vibrant city, with its historic buildings, castle, theatres, the world renowned Millennium Stadium and it's night life. The city is often referred to as the party capital of the UK! (inc. 6 gay bars, 3 clubs and the mens sauna) For shoppers, the Victorian arcades are filled with interesting shops and boutiques, whilst the main shopping complexes boast all the usual high street names in flagship stores. It is only a matter of months before much anticipated St. David's Shopping Centre is complete, offering more than 100 new shops, 25 new cafes and restaurants. You will be amazed at the choices available in the spectacular glass grand arcade. You never know what you might find in Cardiff! Doctor Who Up Close Cardiff – the phenomenally popular exhibition showcasing Doctor Who props, costumes and monsters at the Red Dragon Centre, Cardiff Bay – was recently named the number one attraction in Cardiff. You could just happen to stumble across The Doctor on one of the city streets transformed into some alien world for the filming of another episode of Doctor Who or Mr Barrowman with Torchwood. Spend an evening in some of Wales's finest restaurants located in the city or in the vibrant Cardiff Bay , then go on to party the night away within the lively bars and clubs of the bubbling gay scene . It’s unfair to mention any specific one, but it is fair to point out that The Golden Cross , a listed traditional pub was voted the best gay pub in the UK and was the highest rated pub in the '2005 top 100 places in Cardiff to visit' . Check out the magnificent tiles around. So with all this, is it worth a visit to the cpital of Wales. ??
