Saturday morning. Manic start to the day, as I rummage for my ticket and try to establish if trains are running today or not, due to rain.

Lunchtime. Got my Cardiff Pride ticket and got to the train station. Yes! Trains are back on, but I have to wait til 2.30pm for it to arrive. No problemo, gives me time to buy some wellies and chillax.

2.30pm. No train.

Cardiff Pride Cancelled

It is with deep regret that after consultation with Cardiff Council, Coopers Field is too waterlogged and therefore Cardiff Pride 2008 will not be taking place on Saturday 6th September.

Cardiff Pride will take place on Saturday 6th September at Coopers Field in Bute Park, Cardiff. This is the same location as previous Cardiff Mardi Gras events.   As usual, this will be the main focal entertainment zone with non stop entertainment right through to closing at approximately 9pm. We're constantly adding new acts to our lineup.
